Questionnaire for Participants who attended ICFP 2022

In this pilot convention legacy impact study, the International Steering Committee (ISC) of ICFP is supporting the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) to develop a case study which will show that the International Conference of Family Planning 2022 (ICFP 2022) which took place in Pattaya, Thailand is a high-value conference for its participants, for Thailand the hosting destination, and for the world.

Developing this case study, two years post event, will show the long-term effects which continue to be beneficial even though the convention is long over. This case study will help expand the paradigm of viewing the value of conventions from an economic impact value to broader impacts – prosperity, people, planet, peace and partnerships.

Through the ICFP 2022 Pattaya case study, we will illustrate that conventions bring not only economic impact, but can also lead to societal improvement, sectoral (industry) growth, sustainability impact, and can affect government policies for the better.

We appreciate and acknowledge the support of the various stakeholders and participants in this research. In reciprocity for your feedback which is critical to our case study, TCEB will give a financial donation of 100 Baht for every completed survey to 100 Baht.

We are grateful to the ISC for their invaluable support to facilitate this ICFP 2022 impact survey which is distributed only to participants who joined the conference in-person in Pattaya, Thailand.

This study is conducted by Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) to assess the impact and legacy of international conventions held in Thailand.

Only appointed researchers involved in this study will have access to the information in this survey.  All information will be stored in compliance with TCEB guidelines and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Thailand.

Remarks: For every completed survey, 2 USD will be donated to “Reproductive Health Association (Thai)” to support their good cause among several projects to improve family planning and reproductive health for a better quality of life in rural areas of Thailand.
